I filed my amended tax return, which was accepted on 06/07/2024, after I received my original refund on 02/05/2024. I amended the return to add a dependent.
I checked the status of my amended return on 09/26/2024, which is right at 16 weeks. However, the system says: “The information you entered does not match our records. Please try again later.”
Could someone help me understand what might be happening or if there’s anything else I should do?
