Amended 2015 return

I'm confused what I need to send in with my amended return. The amendment includes 1099s I received late, as well as contributions to traditional IRAs that were not included with the original tax return. I've downloaded my amended return PDF from TurboTax, but it's 151 pages long. Do I send all of that in?

When you file an amended return, you only need to include copies of any Forms 1099-R and W-2 that were not part of your original return.

Any other 1099s don't need to be included.

When you mail your amended return, you only need to send the forms that changed as a result of the amendment. The printout of your amended return probably includes every form in your original return, not just the ones that changed.

If your traditional IRA contribution was 100% deductible, then there won't be a form for that. If it was at least partly nondeductible, then you will need to send Form 8606.

If the additional 1099s were business income, then you will need to include your Schedule C or Schedule E, whichever was affected.

None of the worksheets needs to be mailed, though you might want to send the 1099-MISC Summary.
