I had submitted 2023-tax return using Turbotax online last year. I got a letter from IRS later so need to file an amended return now. But when I click "Amend using Turbotax Online" option, there is no response in my Turbotax account. What should I do to use the "Amend using Turbotax online"?
To amend the 2023 tax return you will need to purchase and download one of the TurboTax 2023 desktop editions to be installed on a personal computer, Windows or Mac - https://turbotax.intuit.com/personal-taxes/past-years-products/
If you paid for the 2023 TurboTax online edition then contact TurboTax support so they can push a 2023 desktop installation file to your download account.

Next you will need to download the 2023 tax data file from the TurboTax 2023 online account
To access your prior year online tax returns sign onto the TurboTax website with the User ID you used to create the account - https://myturbotax.intuit.com/
Start the 2024 online tax return by entering some personal information then click on Tax Home on the left side of the screen.
On the Tax Home webpage -
Scroll down to the section Your tax returns & documents. Click on the Year and Click on Download .tax data file
After installing the 2023 TurboTax desktop software, click on the File menu at the top left of the desktop program screen. Then click on Open Tax Return. Browse to the location where you downloaded the tax data file.
Now, click on Federal Taxes (Personal using Home & Business)
Click on Other Tax Situations
Under Other Tax Forms
On Amend a return, click on the start button
