Amend state ca tax return for tax year 2019. I received a letter from the ca ftb that saying there is an unclaimed nonwage withholding credit. How should i go about?

On a return that old, there does not appear to be a way to do it with TurboTax. Our supported software currently goes back only to 2020.

 

The reason is that the IRS in particular allows amendments for only 3 years, so now 2020, 2021, and 2022 for 2023 (it will change every year).

 

However, when the IRS or a state in this case tells you to amend, you are permitted to do; we at TurboTax just don't have any supported software to do it.
