Am I using the tracker wrong? It says find out when your return may come in, but gives no such information.

Are  you trying to track your refund?

First, check to see if your return was accepted by IRS. To check your e-file status, visit this link:https://turbotax.intuit.com/tax-tools/efile-status-lookup/

If it has been accepted, then you would wait to see if it is approved. Once it is approved, you can track your refund at https://sa.www4.irs.gov/irfof/lang/en/irfofgetstatus.jsp

You will not see your refund expected date, on the IRS website, until after IRS approves the refund. For most taxpayers,(9 out of 10), the refund process takes approximately 21 days. If you have dependents that you are claiming this year, then the federal government has implemented the PATH law for those who claim the EITC or child tax credit which has accounted for longer wait times. For more info on the PATH law, see this webpage: https://turbotax.intuit.com/tax-tips/irs-tax-return/what-is-the-path-act-and-how-may-it-impact-your-...
