After Turbo Tax Updates the data is lost for all I have entered in the Desktop. Is there a way to retrieve the data.

for win PC look in c:\users\user_name\documents\turbotax folder to see if it's there. also, there may be a file starting with a "~" that's supposed to be the backup file

you can rename it 

if there's either file you can double-click on it to open.
