Added Unemployment Compensation Benefit amount received. This increased my adjusted gross income. How much will my return be after the amended return is accepted?

Amended 2017 income tax return. Added Unemployment Compensation Benefit Amount received. This increases my adjusted gross income as well as the tax return I am to receive. How much will I get back after the amendment is accepted? Previously $763 (federal) $83 (state).

There is no way for us to know what your amounts would be without having the return to look at which this information is not something we gather on this public forum.

In general, any unemployment compensation received must be included in your income, therefore, can be taxable. See IRS website Unemployment Compensation

When you start the amend all the amounts for Federal and State will default to zero. After you enter any information not included on the original return, depending on what you change, it may or may not calculate a refund or an amount due.
