When e-filing, I purchased the additional Audit Defense for Home & Business desktop for $60. It was represented to provide defense for as long as my 2023 tax filings can be audited.
Now I have received a document that shows that this is only an annual purchase, and I am only covered until April 10, 2025.
Is this accurate, and the purchase through the desktop software only provides one year of coverage? Really seems like false advertising and I will probably seek a refund and look at other options.
