action required on my refund status on the irs website over two weeks ago and I have still not received any notice

Did you call the IRS?   I had Action Required and there was a special phone # to call with an extension #.  I called and got right to someone, no waiting.   We got it cleared up.   I just got my refund today but it was a check and not Direct Deposit.   

What was that phone number? Where can I find it?

It was listed right on the IRS refund screen near the bottom.  It's probably a different # for different problems.
