Accidentally Set Up IRS Installment Plan After Full Payment via pay1040.com—How to Cancel?"

I mistakenly selected the option to request an installment agreement for my federal tax payment, but I have already paid the full amount through pay1040.com. How can I cancel the unnecessary installment agreement to ensure my account reflects the correct status and avoid any potential fees?​

You will need to contact the IRS directly if your tax return has already been filed and accepted.  You can revise an existing plan directly with the IRS using the steps here.
