Acceptance date.

So I submitted and got the email and a text that my taxes were accepted on the 23rd of January 2020. But I am seeing everywhere that IRS is not accepting them until the 27th of January 2020. Am I missing something here?

The IRS  opened their 2020 filing season for individual filers on January the 27th which is the date that they began processing returns.  They release most refunds within 21 calendar days after the e-filed return has been accepted (received). To check your e-file status, please use the link below:
