#9 on your W2 it has a 6 where do I find out what it means

Box 9 on a W-2 is greyed out on an IRS W-2 form.  It is not used for anything.  Or are you referring to something else?

Are you sure you are looking at a W-2? That has no entry in Box 9.  A Form 1099-R has codes in Box 7? Please clarify what you are looking at, so we can help you better.
