2022 Tax Refund

I completed my taxes with turbotax the last few years. After filing my taxes for tax year 2021, I had to pay. Turbotax sent vouchers to prepay my taxes for the upcoming year. I paid $1441 to the IRS during the year 2022. There is record of this on the IRS's website. However, this did not appear when I filed and it is still outstanding. What is the best way to get my $1441 refunded?

You made the 4 estimated payments for 2022?  How did you pay them?  Did you file 2022 yet?  If you didn't enter them on your 2022 return the IRS should add them to your refund.

To enter Federal or State Estimated Taxes Paid, including a state estimated payment made in January for the prior year, go to

Federal on left or at top. Personal (Home & Business)

Deductions and Credits at top

Then scroll way down to Estimates and Other Taxes Paid

Estimated - click the Start or Update button

I made the payments by check. However, when I sent them in, I had used the wrong SSN on my 2021 return, so the IRS didn't recognize them being paid until after I filed, so they did not appear on my 2022 return. They do appear when I log in to the IRS. Do I need to amend my return? I should not have filed without sorting this out, but hindsight is 20/20.
