2020 Tax Due Has Not Been Taken by IRS On Date Requested Or Since

On 4/6/21 I received an email from Turbo Tax that IRS accepted our return.  I had requested the balance due, $1811, to be taken from my checking account on 4/15/21.  The routing number of my bank and my account number information were input.

 

As of 4/20 the amount has not been taken.

 

Any information on this situation would be appreciated.  Especially how I can track the ongoing situation and to see when the amount is actually withdrawn.  Thank you.

I came here looking for an answer to the exact same problem! Our tax payment was scheduled to be withdrawn automatically on 4/15/21. Nothing yet. TurboTax claims our return was accepted. The correct bank info was given. Do not understand why the IRS still hasn't taken the payment.

There is also a handy reference at the bottom of the following link as well that you can click about what to do after you file your taxes.  I recommend clicking on that as well as it provides more direction as to what to do if your payment does not go through as you directed it to.

 

As long as your payment is scheduled to go through by May 17th, you will be considered filed and paid before the due date.
