1095-a 4TH REJECTION

My taxes has now been rejected a 4th time. I did not have insurance through marketplace, so I will not have this 1095-A form. Numerous agents have tried to walk me through this. I select NO, I do not have the 1095-a form, however when I advance it reverts to the option yes, I do have the 1095-a form. Can anyone help?

This is a bug in the TurboTax software. It has been reported to TurboTax. There is no further information at this time.

This is actually not s problem with the turbo tax software. The IRS  is rejecting the return, because they believe you did have insurance for some time in 2021 thru the ACA. Find out if you do have a 1095-A in your file to report.  You can do this by either logging into  healthcare.gov or by calling them. Their contact can be found on the link.

My tax return was rejected saying I need to fill out a 1095-A form. I do not have that form I even called marker place and they verified I do not have an account there and do not need that form. I went back in my account and checked no I do not have a form however before submitting I go back in and the box is checked yes, so this is a turbo tax issue. I went four times and tried to change it and it keeps going back to yes Can you check into this issue please?

When our interview section Affordable Care Act (Form 1095-A) for the Marketplace insurance reaches the screen Did you receive Form 1095-A for your health insurance plan? it will default to "Yes"If you select "No" and Continue, it will not generate any Form 8962 information into your return. If you come back, it will default to "Yes" again, but it remained the "No" you selected until the time you came back into the area. This is as it should be.

Something may be carrying over from a prior year or going into that section of the return may have generated an incomplete form. It may be best to delete any forms manually.

Here are the directions to delete the Form 8962 from your return. This will delete both the form and all of the entries.

  • To Delete a Form go black menu bar on the left
  • Click on Tax Tools
  • Click on Tools
  • Under Other helpful links, click on Delete a Form
  • Scroll down and check for Form 8962 or 8965 and if there is one, click on Delete
  • Click on the blue Delete Selected Form
  • At the bottom Continue
  • At the bottom Continue with my Return

This will remove any partial forms. Then, please try to refile the return.

I checked that and there are none of these forms on my taxes to delete. So should I try and refile after February 3rd.My mom's taxes have a glitch and they told her to refile on Feb 3rd..I'm hoping it's just a glitch because I do not need to have this form.

Yes, if your rejection is because of form 8962 please try again after February 3rd.
