1 single dollar was deposited from franchise tx bd. My California state return was accepted at 123.00, would they deposit 1 dollar as a test deposit?

They accepted it for processing, but did not accept the refund "at 123.00."  CA can always change it.

It hasn’t been “approved” it’s still processing so I don’t think it is a corrected/altered refund total

Possibly. However, if that is your actual refund, they will be sending you a letter. They do not notify TT.

My refund does not show that it has been approved. Only accepted

Then it is probably a test deposit.
