Documents is a centralized space to store documents like tax forms, scanned receipts, or payment confirmations, so you can quickly access them at tax time.

To upload something to Documents, follow these steps:

  • Select Documents from the left menu.

  • Select your desired tax year.

  • Select Upload and you’ll be presented with three options: Upload, Import, and Snap.

  • Follow the steps for each of the options you select.

  • Select Done or Upload another tax form.

Note: Data from tax forms shared in Documents will be extracted and added to your returns.

Note: If your TurboTax navigation looks different from what’s described here, learn more.
