How do I fix e-file reject code F2441-526?

If you receive the e-file reject code F2441-526, your return has been rejected by the IRS. One or more qualifying persons identified on your Child and Dependent Care Form 2441, Part II, Line 2(b) have already been claimed as a qualifying person on another taxpayer’s return.
To identify the qualifying person in question:
- Review the description field in the rejection error. The path statement has a number enclosed in brackets (for example, [x]). This number identifies the qualifying person on Form 2441 that caused the rejection.
- Verify the qualifying person's Social Security number has been entered correctly. If necessary, correct the Social Security number and resubmit this return.
