How do I switch from a test account to a regular TurboTax account?

You're trying to file your taxes using a test account, but our test accounts aren’t set up to actually file with the IRS. Don’t worry! We can still help. You have two options to continue filing your taxes with TurboTax.

You’ll be able to save your progress on your current tax return and copy it to the desktop product. Follow these steps.

You’ll need to create a new Intuit User ID and start your tax return over again, but it may be quick if you’re already familiar with the product. Follow these steps.
