Where do I report a 1099-G for unemployment or paid family leave?

Important: If your 1099-G shows an amount in box 2, go here for alternate instructions, as the steps below won't work.
If you received unemployment payments or took paid family leave, follow these steps to enter your 1099-G info:
- Open or continue your return.
- Navigate to the 1099-G section:
- TurboTax Online/Mobile: Go to 1099-G.
- TurboTax Desktop: Search for 1099-G and select the Jump to link.
- On the Did you or Spouse receive unemployment or paid family leave benefits? screen, answer Yes.
- Follow the instructions to enter your 1099-G information.
