It's time to enter your digital asset sales. Let's go over what's coming up next.

Form 1099-DA is for reporting the sale of digital assets. It shows the total amount of money you received from selling crypto during the tax year. 

Your 1099-DA might not show what you paid for these digital assets, so you’ll need your own records to report your profit or loss.

Make sure you have all your digital asset sales forms ready from your crypto service, whether they're digital or paper copies. We'll guide you through entering the amounts from each section, and you’ll have plenty of in-line help along the way if you ever get stuck.

If you sold digital assets with multiple crypto services, you'll need to repeat this process with each one until you've entered all your 1099-DAs.
