Where WON'T I find my 2020 AGI?

SOLVEDby TurboTax5185Updated January 05, 2022

You won’t find last year’s AGI on:

  • Your W-2 or 1099 form. (Although these forms may show your total income for the year, they don't include all the information needed to calculate your AGI)
  • The internet (including TurboTax Community)
  • Unemployment papers
  • Any official-looking document other than your 2020 tax return or an official IRS copy or transcript.

The best place to get your 2020 adjusted gross income (AGI) is right off last year's tax return.
