Workers comp/ stimulus check

I've been receiving workers comp for the past few years and I haven't file taxes for 2018 or 2019 as my lawyer told me I wasn't required to.

My question is, should i file and say I earned $1 like many people did in 2008? And should this be for 2018 or 2019? If anyone could really help, it'll be appreciated since I want to do it asap

No, do not file a $1 tax return. Returns with only $1 of income are automatically flagged as potential fraud due to ID Theft.
