Will I be penalized if it's not completed today?

I have to locate my filings for 2021 because it's asking me for my gross income.

To view your prior year income tax return, please see How do I view, download, or print a prior-year return?

 

The due date is today, April 18, 2023. To avoid possible interest and penalties, please file an extension today and have until October 16, 2023 to finish your taxes. 

However, an extension to file is not an extension to pay any income taxes that you owe.
