Where do I upload my HELOC statement?

You can enter your Home Equity Line of Credit Statement into TurboTax as follows:

1. In your search bar near the top of your TurboTax screen click on "Search"
2. Type "Form 1098" into the search bar
3. Click on the link "Jump to Form 1098"
4. Your screen will say, "Did you pay any home loans in 2025?"
5. Click on "Yes"
6. Your screen will say, "Who is your mortgage lender?"
7. Enter your lender's name in the box and click ‌"Continue" If the lender is one TurboTax can upload from, you will be asked to upload or type it yourself.
8. Your next screen will say, "Do any of these uncommon situations apply?
9. Select "None of these apply" (unless they do) and 
10. Click on "Continue"
11. Your next screen will say, "Let's get the details from your Form 1098"
12. Enter the information and continue through your screens, answering all follow-up questions.
13. Make sure on the screen that says "Let's get some details about this loan" to select "This is a home equity line of credit (Heloc)"
