From the Wages and Income screen, after you have entered all your W-2 information, you will come to a screen that says, "Let's check for other situations." You will choose the first option for "Overtime."
The software will ask you if you need help in calculating eligible over time or if you know what to enter.
If you know what to enter, and you are not an exempt employee, you will be able to enter the amount of overtime that is eligible to be deducted.
Under a new law, some workers can reduce their taxable income based on the overtime pay they received.
