Your ID number is usually your SS#.

I am  trying to find out where my refund and my stimulus check is and the Get My Payment says my SS or something doesn't match their records. no one to ask

The best way to check your status of your payment is online using the IRS website.  They have been updating the pages daily with new information.  

           

You can only check the status of your stimulus check if you filed a return at this point.  Here are a few resources depending upon your situation.

This year my SSN# is coming up invalid to work. Even though I did. No one has claimed me as a dependent. I was able to file my state refund and have a small refund coming. However, with my federal I'm unable to claim EIC's and dependents.  I'm a USA resident my whole life. Born in Aurora, CO in 1980

@tbriggs637 You must have made a mistake on a screen in MY INFO.  There was a screen that asked if your Social Security card says it is not valid for employment.   Go back through the MY INFO questions and look for that screen and correct the answer you gave.
