When you receive a "null", it means the software encountered an unexpected condition that it couldn't deal with.  This can occur from any number of possible conditions.  You may consider referencing the following link to report the software issue to Turbo Tax:  https://ttlc.intuit.com/questions/1754461-how-do-i-report-a-problem-defect-or-bug-with-turbotax-soft...

There may have been a communication or connection error on your computer. Please try these steps to resolve the issue:

  1. Close TurboTax, restart your computer, and reopen TurboTax. Try to submit your return again.
  2. Delete your  temporary internet files (cache & cookies). Please click on the common browser below for instructions on how to delete your temporary internet files. Once completed, log back into TurboTax and try to submit your return.

If you are using Internet Explorer, change browsers.

If you are not using Internet Explorer, try the steps mentioned above.

If you are still unable to transmit, try logging in with a different device.
