What does it mean when it says "ready to mail"??

If your filing status is listed as Ready to mail, that means that you either chose to file your taxes by mail or that you are not eligible to e-file your tax return.  If you are filing your taxes by mail, you will need to print your tax return and mail it in order to file it.  

Sorry but Ready to Mail means you have to actually print out your tax return and mail it to the IRS yourself. So it has not been filed yet. You can try to switch to efile https://ttlc.intuit.com/replies/3985787
