What determines the free return?

Hello.  I am new to TurboTax.   I have one W-2, three each of 1098-T, 1099-I's and 1099-Q's.  How do I determine how much I need to pay to file my return?  Or are these forms considered "free" for filing?

Hi ccinder32796,

If you are referring to a 1099-INT, both that form and W-2's are supported by the free product.  The 1098-T and 1099-Q forms both require  an upgrade to Deluxe.  The software will then break down your fees and charges for the product (if any) prior to filing.  You can "start for free" in the online product and it will upgrade you based upon what forms you need to input.  The compare products page for desktop can be accessed by clicking here.  There is also a tab on the page that says Online that allows you to compare the online options and what forms are supported.
