Va State S-Copr Form 502 review loop problem.

Discussion to fix the "one more review" loop did not work for me:  Deleting the Form 502A, and returning to step-by-step processing.  TBT still wants another review.

I've tried to delete all the forms possible and run the state process again.

"Now the review searches for incomplete information, amounts that may be too high or too low, and amounts marked as estimated."

It next reviews for overwritten entries and says the "owners date" has been overwritten.  I check, and the date has not been overwritten.   The date entry has no option to "turn  off" overwritten for this entry.

Again, on form 502A, I have not checked any of the boxes in Section A, because they do not apply to my business.

TBT note says, Section A Box Set: applicable box must be checked.

So, it's trying to force me to check a box in Section A, which has no bearing on my company or Pass Through Income.

After running through the return review, it comes back to "We need to make one more Check".

I looked at the file list, and the Form 502A was NOT created, so I can't delete it and try again.

.

It looks like there is something else stopping the eFile transfer.

Any suggestions appreciated.

I've been through the VA state tax program trying anything and everything to get the eFile to work.

Currently, the program completes a state tax review and says:

"Before you e-file, we need a little more information that we didn't need before".

I run through the review again, but the program does not direct me to any additional box entries I need to complete.

Is there any way to override the review and get my Va State S-Corp taxes to e-File?

I just finished reviewing VA Form 502 Instructions, all 31 pages of them, and decided that our real estate development company was most closely aligned with Financial Services.  I checked that box, entered total sales,, sales in VA (which was the same) and the form calculated 100%.  I unchecked the Form 765 form and ran two reviews.  It accepted and the return is on its way to VA.  Thank God...

I'm having the same problem.  The Loop wants me to correct VA 502A but when I look at the forms in the return, VA 502 is the one it shows which is correct.  But I can't file because it wants me to correct VA 502A which isn't even there!  HELP!

Having same problem. Any solutions?

Is the PIN from VA required?

I finally out looped it!  Since it kept wanting me to correct 502A, I arbitrarily picked an answer for the apportionment question and then it wanted more answers. So then I went to the Forms Section and it showed that 502A wasn't complete.  I just deleted the form.  I had already added Form 502 so it no longer looped.

Finally Filed....definitely a glitch in the system!

Thanks. I finally was able to submit the 1120S & 502. Incredible that TurboTax didn't fix the problem!

Our client called the Tax Department at the Commonwealth and they indicated that PINs are no longer necessary to file the Form 502.

I did not enter a PIN and was able to successfully e-file the return.  However, still awaiting confirmation that the Commonwealth received the efile.

This is a real problem that Intuit/Tubo Tax needs to fix. None of the above solutions has worked for me. Of course, Turbo Tax wants to charge you to actually talk with someone to fix their problem...urg!

Same Issue. I am also a single ember LLC, which by the instructions, doesn't require me to even file one, but there's no way around it.

Does Intuit even monitor these issues, would think they would have hoped on here and said something since it doesn't seem to be an isolated issue.

PS- I did manage to file by deleting Form 502A, but somehow, I'm thinking it'll come back to bite me at some point, somewhere. An actual fix would be better.
