Unauthorized Charges

I would like to know, why out of the blue, I would recieve a random unauthorized charge of $3.74 accessed to my checking account today?  Also why is it so hard to get customer service help with issues?

Who charged you?  What is the description?

Was it a charge---or was it a little deposit?  The IRS is sending out small deposits to pay interest for delayed refunds

I did not make any changes on my account. I did not login into my account earlier this morning but I got a email saying I did.

Were the fees suppose to come out of your refund?

Sounds like the IRS is taking too long to send your refund or reduced it. See What if the IRS reduces your refund or delays it.
https://ttlc.intuit.com/community/payments/help/what-if-my-federal-refund-isn-t-enough-to-cover-my-turbotax-fees/00/26313

Then when the IRS does send your refund they won't take the fees out again.

And, Why you got charged,
https://ttlc.intuit.com/community/charges-and-fees/help/why-was-my-bank-account-auto-debited-for-turbotax-fees/00/26102

You should have received about 4 emails asking for the fees. If you don't pay they will debit your account. You had to agree to it. Check your spam folder for emails.

Did you have them do you taxes? Sound about the same amount they charged me to get my taxes prepared. You know, "free"  up until you file! They did take out of my refund not my checking account. Definately be looking into those charges. Unfortunately I can't find where the hell you get help on here? There is a support button but yeah, doesn't work! Good luck to you.

@fgcloer

Was it for this?

TURBOTAX TOOK MONEY OUT OF MY BANK ACCOUNT

Did you choose to have your TurboTax fees deducted from your federal refund?  Is your refund taking an unusually long time to arrive?  Or was your refund seized to pay a debt you owed? if so, you signed an agreement that says TT can withdraw its fees from your account.  TurboTax would have sent several emails to you before they took the money out of your account.
