Unauthorized charge

I no longer use turbo tax and my computer can't even download it anymore . I didn't use it last year and you charged me anyway and now there is a new charge on my credit card for the coming years taxes and I did not authorize or receive this.

Sounds like you chose to become an Advantage member and ordered the 2023 software.   Check all of your TT accounts and make sure you cancel the Advantage membership if you do not want to receive the software.

 

 

No one in the user forum can resolve a billing issue.  If you have a question about your TurboTax fees or billing, make sure you use the word “billing” in your request for help.  Do not use the word “refund.”

You probably signed up for the TurboTax Advantage program where the software is sent to you in November for the next tax year.  If you no longer want to be on the Advantage program you MUST cancel the subscription and then apply for a refund.

 

You would also have received an Order Confirmation email from TurboTax to the email address on file with TurboTax.

If you missed the cancelation deadline for this year's TurboTax product, simply wait until you receive your CD or download, then submit an online refund request within 60 days of receiving your product.

What you are describing is that you have a TurboTax Advantage subscription where the software is sent to you each tax year and you are charged for the software in November.

You will have to contact TurboTax support for assistance in getting this charge removed from your billing account. Use the key words Billing Issue
