I keep getting

Solution: Intuit Account -> Sign In & Security -> Phone (change & save no need to verify) -> back to e-file and retry.

are you using a cell that's in a foreign country?  that requires a foreign country code.  which can't be used.

or if US phone are you entering 1 (not needed) + 10 digit number?

Thank you for the reply.  I am filing from Israel, but I used my mother in law's, US, 10 digit, phone number in the return.  When I looked up who else had this problem, they were all filing outside the US, but many were using US phone numbers in their return.  So, I wonder if there isn't some bug in the program.  It worked fine last year.  I would really like to send this before the 15th.

Hi Catina!

I'm stuck on the Home Office worsheet for two home offices, confirming 'Simple Method' in 2019.  Every time I tried to efile, it just gives me the Continue button.

Thanks,

Conrad

I am filing from Panama.  I had changed my number to my Panamanian number but now unable to e-file.  Saw your post about changing the number again (without verification) and changed the number to my daughter's cell number is the U.S. without verifying it.  Still unable to efile and keep getting the same error message:

Once you do that, then change the telephone number to a U.S. number and see if that lets you continue to e-file. For more information about this error: Error message 601ERRV:5, CustHdr_17 - ?:? - Invalid SMS Number. Contains invalid digits
