Two 1098 forms for two different locations

My wife and I sold our primary home in Jul 2021 and We bought a new home in June 2021, two different mortgage companies so now we have two 1098 forms. On the loan deduction section , I am entering both mortgagees , correct? how the system will know that they are for two different locations?

Yes, enter both.

It doesn't matter that they are on two different homes, but you will need to say the first was paid off.

When you enter the newer one, you will need to select that it was used to buy build or improve your main home, even when the main home is a new main home.
