Turbotax Keeps check excess SDI

I am filing California Tax.  I made my payment.

However, Turbotax keeps checking excess SDI in the CA 540 worksheet.  I don't have any excess SDI.  So, I entered 0.  Turbotax would repetitively check this item and would not move forward to file my CA tax.

Can someone help me?  There isn't much time left for me to file the tax.

Many thanks.

I also tried to enter a random number.  However, Turbotax doesn't like any number I entered and would not move forward to file my return.

Do you have more than 1 employer?  Or is it saying  one employer took too  much SDI out?  Are you entering it in W2 box 14?   For 2023 the max for CA SDI/VPDI is $1,378.48 ($153,164 wages x 0.9%).   Is your SDI less than 1,378.48?  Try leaving the cents off.

Did you try deleting the W2 and enter it again Manually?  That usually clears things out.

I entered W2 box 14 as CA VPDI $1378.48.

I have only one employer in the past year.

Turbotax doesn't give much information.  It just asks me to check it.

OK.  I will try to re-enter the W2.  But, this seems to be a silly bug.

Leave off the cents then it should go through.

Editing W2 removing cents in VPDI didn't help.

Re-entering W2 fixed it.

Thanks
