TurboTax Fees

I purchased TurboTax Premier Windows online in January for $99.99. Now I"m trying to eFile and TurboTax is trying to charge me another $44.99 to eFile. What gives?

 

I have my confirmation # but it won't allow me to enter it anywhere.

There is no charge to e-file with the Online products, but there is a $44.99 charge for the state return (state returns incur an additional charge).

There are no e-file charges for filing a federal tax return when using the TurboTax desktop CD/Download editions.  There is an e-file charge for a state e-filed tax return that is currently $24.99.

 

Did you purchase an additional state program besides the free one you downloaded?  If so, there is a charge of $44.99 for the additional state program download.

 

Where did you purchase the TurboTax software?
