I can't download Merrill tax info to my pc installed version of 2024 TT. I've tried everything. The tax forms are available. Merrill says it's not their problem. Even my financial advisor can't help. I think there is an issue that Turbo Tax has not addressed for PC versions. It seems the online version works. My Fidelity account works. I'd be willing to work with TT to troubleshoot. This is a mess every year and to be honest, i'll use another tax software next year if i can't get an answer that works. Clearing Browser is not an answer for the PC version. And the password and id are correct. I even chagned them and turned off the MFA. Please help.
For Merrill, I saw another user changed their password for Merrill and then was able to import. Let me know if this works.
User solution:
The ultimate solution, although I do not understand why, was to change my Merrill password. Once I did this, the import worked fine. My previous password worked in Merrill, but for some unknown reason when I used the same ID/Password in TurboTax, I could not log in.. Simply changing my password in my Merrill account and then attempting the import with the new password worked.
