I transmitted my 1040 - 2021 taxes and was rejected due to my AGI not matching 2020 taxes. The AGI is correct but suspect due to having to mail 2020 taxes last year the AGI will never match.
How can I resolve this problem?

Use a ZERO for the AGI since the 2020 return had to be mailed. If that also rejects then all you can do is mail in the 2021 return as well.
