We'd love to help you complete your tax return, but need more information. Can you please clarify your question?

Are you asking about the Teacher deduction for classroom supplies?

If that's not it, is this a state credit? Which state?

Yes, I'm asking about the Teacher deduction for classroom supplies for my Federal return.  I cannot access the deduction after I verify that I spent money as a k-12 teacher for classroom supplies.  I get an error message in all browsers and all my devices that "Something went wrong..." with a green excalamation point in a triangle.

Thank you for the clarification. I tested this here on my end and had no issues.

Try this:

  1. Sign out of TurboTax.
  2. Clear your cache and cookies. If you aren't sure how to do that in your preferred browser, follow this link for instructions.
  3. Sign in again.
  4. Select Deductions & Credits, then select Edit to the right of Teacher (Educator) Expenses.
  5. Enter your amount and select Continue.
  6. You should see a message that tells you the amount of your allowed deduction.

We are having same error message.  3/9 and 3/10.  Two teacher household and it keeps saying “something went wrong”. It is the last thing for us to do prior to submitting taxes

We tried this on two browsers, clearing both caches and still have this same error message.

I was never able to get it to work.  I also received an error message when I tried to file, so I gave up on TurboTax and used another tax service entirely.
