Tax Return

Dear Sir/Madam

I am a J1 student and I filled my tax return with you. On the turbo tax checker it says that my taxed have been accepted by the irs and were supposed to arrive on the 14th of may, but now it is the 20th and they are still not in my account. When I check on the IRS platform it says that the return is received but still not marked as approved. Why is the difference between what it shows in turbo tax and irs site and whill I receive my money?

The date of the TurboTax website is only an estimate.

Once a tax return has been Accepted by the IRS or a State, TurboTax receives no further information concerning the tax return or the status of any tax refund.

Only the IRS and your State control when and if a Federal or State tax refund is Approved and Issued.

If accepted by the IRS use the federal tax refund website to check the refund status - https://www.irs.gov/refunds
