Estimated income (Pension and SSN) will be $79000.  This will put my income for the year at approx $545000.  I will be filing joint this year.

The best way to play "what-if" games is with our TaxCalculator.  You can drop in the numbers and check alternative situations.  Considering you do have two months left to plan.

You can also do this in the TurboTax Desktop Version, or create a dummy account online, and drop the numbers in there.

Of note, all tax data is still 2022 at this point.  But one can assume, hopefully, there are no major changes coming.
