I just submitted my taxes and when I printed them, I noticed the Schedule C, line B, had the old category code of 454111. I found on census.gov the changes from 2012 to 2017 NAICS: "2012 NAICS industries 454111, Electronic Shopping, 454112, Electronic Auctions, and 454113, Mail-Order Houses, were collapsed into a new 6-digit industry: 454110, Electronic Shopping and Mail-Order Houses."
Do you think I'll have any issues with this?
You are correct, 454111 has been dropped as a separate subcategory of 454110.
The IRS will associate your business with 454110 businesses.
IRS Principal Business or Professional Activity six-digit codes are based on the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS).
No, 454111 is the code used for internet sales by the IRS.
I'm not sure, I don't see 454111 in the Schedule C instructions starting 2017.
