Stop suporting Windows 2010??

I just found out Windows 10 will not be supported this year. not good. I cant buy a new computer at this time. We are constantly pushed to upgrade, subscribe etc...

So I just purchased H&R block software after using TT since 2000. at least they do Windows 10 for less money.

This is no way to treat customers. I hope Quicken wont go this route in January because I will be done as well.

I dont know who makes these decision but this may well reflect in the next Q rresults

Congratulations on leaving TurboTax!  You are right, they don't care about their customer at all.

I suspect part of their reason for not supporting Windows 10 is that they are trying to push people to the stripped-down online version, which they likely make a larger profit.

In the event you don't like the H&R Block software, you may also consider TaxAct (or other options), which I personally like.

@Serge they do make more money on the Online version and ultimately I suspect their goal is to sunset the Desktop version.

30 years ago, there was no internet to speak of and their product was simply the Desktop version.omers

as of October, 55% of all Windows users are using Win11 in any event.  So TT is further is making the bet that that a) some customers migrate to the Online version, b) some customers upgrade to WIn11 so the fallout is relatively minor in the end.

They have made a business decision.
