Hello. I have been using Turbo Tax for all my filings for a number of years. this year (for the tax year of 2019) I once again used your service. This time, however, I got my refund sent to me on a TurboTax Visa card. I am wondering if the $1200.00 stimulus package that I will be receiving can be automatically put on this card as well, or if I will receive a paper check in the mail. Please let me know if there are any forms I would need to fill out in order to achieve this. Thank you in advance.
According to the IRS, the Internal Revenue Service will send the check to the bank account number you used for the direct deposit information included on that return (2019 or 2018 if you did not file a 2019 return). Or, if you did not include direct deposit information on your tax form, the IRS will mail the check to you at the address you included on your tax form.
Since the card has a routing & banking number it should go on the card if it is active.
