If you are using the Online version, you do not pay until the end. If you paid for the Online version already, and purchased the CD/Download you will need t speak to an agent for a refund. However. this Turbo Tax FAQ will show you how to move, or transfer your return to the software.

The link on switching sends you to a page instructing you to save your TTO file. You cant do that till you file. This is a question about how to switch prior to filing.
