Solar panels

I recently got solar panels that I pay for monthly.  Can I get a deduction or credit?

The rules are complex, (please see link),  but yes if you owe tax, then you will be eligible  for a tax credit to the extent of tax owed. Any unused credit can be carried over to the next year.
