Settlement W-2, Box 20 empty, locality name missing

I received a settlement check for a very small (less than $20) amount and they filled box 19 in with a wage but left box 20 empty. I keep getting an error. Can I leave this blank and file my taxes or does this need to be added?

No, you can't leave Box 20 blank if there is tax withheld in Box 19.  

 

You could enter the name of the locality that you live in (either the city, county or school district), in a similar format to your W-2, if available.
