Dear Holly,

I did my taxes and did not know my employer wanted me to file an Schedule SE. I already got my return and attempted to do the SE but did not put in all tghe info correctly. Turbo Tax is not letting me amend the second time. help

This is a public forum not a direct line to HOLLY.

Your post is confusing ... an employer who issues a W-2 doesn't require you to pay SE taxes ... the FICA taxes should have been withheld from your paycheck.

OR are you an independent contractor for this "client" and they sent you a 1099-misc ?
