Schedule NJ-DOP

I understand above form not available in TT Online until Feb 17th, but the form is available as a pdf on NJ Div. of Taxation site (see link below).

Why is that?  Is it simply TT needs the time to code the form because it has changed vs last year?

Yes, they have to code it, test it, and then get the form in TurboTax approved by the state.

There must be some issue with NJ this year, since other tax software also shows delays for forms.

This is unusual,

The NJ DOP form was not updated in the New Jersey state February 17, 2022 updates.  Still getting error form needs to be updated.  When will this be available?

When can this be released so I can e-file.  I've already paid for fed, ny state and nj state.  So when will this be released so I can file my taxes.

Hi,

I was able to file.  I no longer got the message re NJ-DOP not being available.   However,  there was another issue with NJ returns too, which I believe is also fixed. See link below...

Do I need to do anything to be able to file, or just wait until they update it?

Hi, I didn't do anything different.  However, I did sign up to the TT email service that alerts you to when a form is ready.  Once I got the notification the form was ready, I reviewed my NJ return again and I didn't get the error message re this form.

May I know how did you sign up with TT email?

It is 02/26 today.  I still get "You must obtain an update before you file your return ..." very misleading message, and cannot efile NJ state return eventually after looping the same questions so many times.  Very poor software quality!!  I regret I have paid for it.

I am also getting the same message, I contacted TT last week and they told me just got to wait for the State to fix it? Been waiting for 8 days now, so i don’t know what to do.

Hi,

I was using TT online and there was a link to sign up to an email alert on the page stating the form wasn't available yet.   You mention an "update" in your email below.  With online version I assume all updates are automatic.  If you are using a desktop version perhaps you need to download an update to get the form working?

it still does not work for me. it has me check numbers and keep clicking continue. but keeps bringing me back in an endless loop. i cannot even adjust numbers or do anything. it is incredibly frustrating and no one has any way to fix the issue. Can someone please advise on how to fix this? i am losing confidence in TT
